Worldwide Railway Funding and Investment Budgets 2009

The volume, the availability and the realisation of financial budgets for investments and operation are among the most important long-term drivers for the global development of the railway markets and the demand for railway-related products. In the Multi Client Study - Worldwide Railway Funding and Investment Budgets 2009-, SCI Verkehr analyses, systematises and validates the budgets of public and private transport and infrastructure companies as well as the injection of funds from the public sector. In particular, the study evaluates the effects of the global financial and economic crisis on the financial resources of the railways. We analyse and measure the importance of government economic stimulus packages for the railways-™ financial bases.
